Down on Ghoses Lane in Belur Math, you’ll find us at number 46. This is where Alkem Pharma Ltd is based in the Howrah area of West Bengal. It is an old neighborhood with a lot of character and narrow streets that can be tricky for big vehicles. Our building has been here for a long time, and it shows in the architecture. We aren't a flashy new startup with bean bags and open-plan offices. We have real walls, wooden desks, and a lot of history in the bricks. The humidity in West Bengal can be tough on the paperwork, so we do our best to keep everything dry and organized. Most of us have been working here for years and know the local tea stalls by heart. There is a sense of community in Belur Math that you don't find in the big city centers. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do.
