Kuntal Chikitsalaya

Kuntal Chikitsalaya is situated at Sehagari More in the Jaypur area of Amta. Being right on Amta Road in Howrah makes it easy for people to find us, especially those living around the 711401 area. We’ve been in this spot for many years. It’s a typical local clinic with a simple door and a small waiting space inside. The road outside can get pretty noisy with trucks and buses passing through Sehagari More, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't a big hospital, just a small local chikitsalaya. There’s usually a bit of a crowd in the evenings when people are finished with their work for the day. We have a few wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. The floor is tile and we try to sweep it often because of the dust from Amta Road. We don’t use any fancy management systems; we just write things down in our ledgers like we always have. Most of our patients are from the nearby villages and the Jaypur area. They know us by name and we know many of them too. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our sign out front. We keep things straightforward and focus on the people who walk through our door. It’s a humble place, but it’s been serving this part of Howrah for a long time and we plan to keep it going.
