Kanya Creation

Our shop, Kanya Creation, is at number 34/35/2 on Sri Arabinda Road in Salkia. It is a bit of a crowded street, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping in Howrah. We are on Sri Arabinda Road, and even though the street is busy, we like the energy of it. We have been here for a while and the building has seen better days, but it works for us. We do a lot of different things with fabrics and designs. It is mostly just us sitting in the back working on stuff while keeping an eye on the front door. The road outside can be a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws and people walking by, but that is just life in Salkia. We have a lot of neighbors who stop by just to say hello or ask about a specific piece of work we are doing. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It’s more of a practical workspace where things actually get made. Sometimes we get behind on orders when the power goes out, which happens more than we’d like. But we always catch up eventually. We just like what we do and we like being on Sri Arabinda Road. It feels like home to us now. We don't use any big words to describe the business because we are just normal people trying to earn a living. If you are in the area, you’ll see our sign. It isn't anything too flashy, just us.
