Jai Santoshi Maa Bhandar

It’s just a small shop here in Deshbandhu Nagar. We’ve been at School Para for a while now. Most people around here know us as Jai Santoshi Maa Bhandar. It’s a busy spot near the school. We keep the daily stuff people need. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy when it's crowded, but that's how it goes. My family helps out behind the counter. We open early in the morning because that's when the parents are dropping kids off. The rain gets in sometimes through the front door if the wind is blowing the wrong way. We just mop it up and keep going. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. It’s not fancy. Just a counter and some shelves. We try to keep things stocked, but sometimes the delivery truck is late. That's just part of life here. If you walk down from the main road, you'll see us. We’ve got the usual snacks and household bits. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running at full speed. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to ask the neighbor shop for some. It’s a quiet life mostly. We know most of our customers by name. They’ve lived here as long as we have. It’s nice to be part of the neighborhood. We don't have a big sign, just the name written up there. It works for us. We'll be here if you need anything for your kitchen.
