J S Agro Industries is based in Salkia, right at 7, Hazarimal Shah Road. This part of town is very old and has a lot of history with trade and industry. We focus on agro-related products, so our warehouse often has a very earthy smell to it. It’s a large, high-ceilinged space that stays relatively cool even when it’s hot outside. We have people coming in and out all day, mostly checking on grain or equipment or whatever is in season. The floor is concrete and usually covered in a bit of dust from the sacks. We don’t have a fancy office setup; it’s mostly just some wooden desks and old ledgers where we track the shipments. Salkia is a busy area, especially near the river, and the traffic on Hazarimal Shah Road can be quite something. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the local transporters and the other business owners on the block. We don't do any flashy advertising or social media stuff. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for decades. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in and making sure it’s stored correctly. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the land and the farmers. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders. It’s nothing special, just what we do every day.
