Our place is located at 2 3 1 Jagadish Ch Vedabyas Lane in Salkia, Howrah. It is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes that can be a bit tricky to navigate if you are not used to it. Itc Infotech India Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a while. The building feels old and has a lot of character, much like the rest of Howrah. You can often hear the sounds of the street, like the rickshaws and people talking outside. Inside, we have set up our workstations as best as we can. It is a bit crowded with all the hardware and monitors, but we make it work. We are a local team and most of us live nearby, so we do not have to cross the bridge every day. The work is mostly technical support and managing systems. It is repetitive but important. We do not have a fancy lobby or any receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just looks up from a desk. We take our tea breaks together when we can find a quiet moment. The lighting isn't great, but it is enough to see what we are doing. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the queue of work before the day ends. It is a very normal, local office where people just work hard without any pretense.
