Golui Engineering

Golui Engineering is tucked away near the Sukant United Club in the Chak Para area of Liluah. It’s a neighborhood where everyone knows each other, so there is always someone popping in to say hello. Our workshop is full of machines that make a lot of noise throughout the day. We do all sorts of engineering work, mostly cutting and shaping metal for different projects. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we have to sweep it up every few hours just to keep a clear path. We don't have a fancy office with a desk or a telephone operator. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to shout over the sound of the lathes. We aren't trying to be some high-end firm with glossy catalogs. We just take the drawings people bring us and try to make them into real parts. Sometimes the work is difficult and takes longer than we thought, but we stay until it’s finished. Liluah is an industrial place, so the smell of grease and the sound of iron are just part of the daily routine. We eat our lunch together in a small corner of the shop when we can find a quiet moment. It’s a simple life of making things and solving mechanical problems. We like being near the club because it makes the shop easy for people to find.
