We are located at 10 Drabani Dutta Road in Howrah. Being in West Bengal, especially in an area like this, means dealing with narrow streets and a lot of history. Gish Online Shoppe Pvt Ltd operates out of this old building. It is a bit different from the Delhi branch because the vibe in Howrah is just different. The air is heavy, and the streets are always full of people and rickshaws. We spend our days inside, surrounded by inventory. There are shelves reaching up to the ceiling with all sorts of things. We focus on getting the packages ready for delivery. It is a lot of standing around and moving boxes. The floor is concrete and stays a bit cool even when it’s humid outside. Sometimes the rain hits the roof so loud we have to shout to hear each other. We don't have any fancy office furniture, just what we need to get the job done. Working in Howrah means you get used to the slow pace of the morning and the madness of the afternoon. We try to stay on top of the orders, but sometimes things get backed up.
