Shalimar Electronics

Shalimar Electronics is located at No. 67 Debendra Ganguly Road. We are right by the Batai Tala Bazar and the G.T. Road crossing, sitting just beside the Batai Chandi Mandir. It’s a very busy spot with people always coming and going from the temple or the market. Our shop is full of all sorts of electronics, from spare parts to small gadgets. There’s usually a bit of a mess on the counters because we’re often in the middle of fixing something or testing out a piece of equipment. We’ve been here for years and we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. It’s a small shop, but we try to keep a good variety of things on the shelves. We don't have a big team or fancy uniforms. It’s just us wearing what we want and helping people find what they need for their homes. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon trying to figure out why a particular circuit isn't working right. That’s the kind of work we enjoy. The noise from the G.T. Road crossing is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't looking to be some huge chain of stores. We just want to keep the shop running and help the folks in the bazaar when their electronics break down. If you're near the mandir, you’ll see our sign right there. It’s a simple life and we like it that way.
