Bushra Boutique Collection

Our place is on the 4th floor of the building at No. 54/1 Pilkhana 2nd Lane. It’s a bit of a climb because we are tucked away at the top. The stairs can feel long on a hot day. Being on the 4th floor means we are away from the street noise, which is nice for focusing on work. We have several machines running most of the time. The space is used for everything from cutting to finishing the final pieces. It is a busy environment. We don’t have a storefront on the ground level, so we rely on people knowing where we are. The light is actually quite good up here in the afternoon. We spend a lot of our time dealing with heaps of material. It gets dusty, and we have to clean the tables constantly. There isn't much room for sitting around. We are usually on our feet or hunched over a workspace. Sometimes the neighbors from the other floors stop by to say hello. Pilkhana is a packed neighborhood, and this lane is no different. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t bother with much decoration. The clothes we are working on provide enough color. It’s a functional space where we try to keep up with the daily tasks. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything running smoothly up here on the 4th floor.
