It is a fairly quiet stretch of the road compared to the main hubs, but there is still plenty going on. We have been focusing on suitings for a long time. The shop is tucked into a row of other buildings, and you might miss it if you aren't looking for the number. Inside, we have rolls of fabric and various samples laid out. It is the kind of place where things move a bit slower. We take our time with people because choosing fabric for a suit isn't something you want to rush. The walls are lined with shelves, and there is usually a bit of thread or some pins on the floor from the day's work. Howrah has its own unique feel, a bit different from the main part of Kolkata across the river. We like it here. Most of the people who come in are locals who have lived in the area for years. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here on the road. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but it doesn't stop folks from coming in. It is just a small, honest business making sure people have clothes that fit them right. We have a few old chairs for people to sit while they wait.
