Our place is located on Sarat Chatterjee Road in Howrah, right at number 670. It is an old building but it works for what we do every day. We handle a lot of the technical side of air systems and engineering parts here. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or drawings we've been looking at. We aren't a huge corporation, even if the name sounds a bit formal. It's mostly just a group of us who have been working with machines for years. Most of our day is spent figuring out why a system isn't ventilating right or how to fit a new part into an old setup. The traffic on this road can get pretty bad, so we start early to get things moving before the noise starts. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the real work happens with our hands and the tools we've had forever. If you walk in, you'll see stacks of manuals and maybe some old tea cups. We just keep our heads down and do the engineering work that needs doing for the local projects. It’s not fancy, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the equipment we put together works fine. We’ve been part of this district for a long time and know the people around here pretty well. It’s just how we get things done at this workshop.
