Down on Babalur Road, specifically in the Nggo Colony area, is where you’ll find our little operation. Ramanasri Nagar is a decent spot, a bit quieter than the main city center, which suits us just fine since we deal with biotech products. Most of what we do involves stuff for the soil and plants, so there’s usually a bit of an earthy smell around the office. We spend a lot of our time talking to farmers or people from the local nurseries who want to know what works best for their crops. It’s not a high-tech lab like you see in the movies; it’s more of a practical workplace with sacks of product and a lot of logbooks. My desk is usually covered in notes and old tea cups. We have a small team here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping load the bags into the back of a jeep. The weather out here in Babalur can be quite dry, so we’re always thinking about water and growth. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a reliable one for the folks around here. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, especially during the planting season, but it feels good to be part of the local community. We just take it one day at a time and try to help where we can without making things too complicated for the customers.
