Our office is at Plot No. 7 in New Anna Swamy Pillai Nagar, which is tucked into a corner of Anna Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s a lot quieter than the main roads. We work on HR technology, which basically means we spend our time trying to make hiring and managing people a bit less of a headache. The office is just a converted house, really. It gives it a bit of a homey feel that you don't get in those glass towers downtown. We have a small kitchen where we make way too much tea during the day. There are only about ten of us here. We don't have fancy titles or a strict hierarchy. If something needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how companies handle their staff over the years, and we just try to keep up with the tech side of things. It’s not always easy, especially when the software gets glitchy, but we stay until it’s fixed. We don't put out a lot of press releases or go to big networking events. We just prefer to stay here and focus on the code and the customers. It’s a good little team, and we’ve been together for a while. We know each other’s families and habits. It’s just a normal job in a nice part of Chennai where we can work in peace without too much noise from the traffic outside.
