Sas Fabricators

Sas Fabricators is based out of Jambunath Road, right near the High Level Canal Bridge. It's a decent area, though the breeze coming off the canal can be a bit damp during the rainy season. We spend most of our time out in the workshop cutting and joining metal. It’s not the quietest job in the world, with the grinders going and the welding sparks flying around most of the day. We do a lot of work for people in the district, making things like gates or frames for balconies. We usually have a few piles of steel rods and sheets sitting around waiting to be used. The shop is located in a spot that’s pretty easy to explain to people because everyone knows the bridge. We don't have a big sign or anything, but people seem to find us just fine by word of mouth. On hot days, it gets pretty warm under the tin roof, so we take breaks when we can. My hands are usually covered in grease or soot by lunchtime, but that’s just the nature of fabrication work. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive. It’s just a small team of us here, and we’ve been working together for a good bit now. We don't bother with fancy flyers or anything like that, we just focus on the projects sitting on the floor in front of us without making a big deal out of it.
