You can find us on Dam Road, right by the Valmiki Circle in Hospet. Being in the Bellary district, we are right in the heart of the steel belt. Pawan Steels is a place that feels the heat of the sun every single day. The road outside is a major route, so there is a never-ending stream of trucks and tractors. The dust is everywhere, and it settles on the office furniture within minutes. We spend a lot of time just keeping the yard organized. It isn't a high-tech operation. We have a simple shack for an office and a large open space for the materials. Most of our customers are local builders or people working on the nearby irrigation projects. We don't do any big marketing. Word of mouth usually brings people to Valmiki Circle. The work is physically demanding, and we are usually exhausted by the time the sun goes down. There is a certain routine to it that we have all grown used to. We check the weights, load the trucks, and handle the billing on a small wooden desk. Sometimes we sit under the shade of the awning and watch the traffic go by during our break. It is a quiet, hardworking life out here on the edge of town. We don't expect things to be fancy, we just expect to get the job done.
