Rattu Traders

Down here in Rurki Khas, Rattu Traders is just a regular part of the landscape. Garhshankar isn’t a huge place, so word gets around. We handle a bit of everything that comes through. Mostly trading bits and pieces that the local folks need. The office is small, and there’s usually a pile of paperwork on the desk that I need to get to. It’s a family-run thing, really. My brother helps out when he can, and we just try to keep the books straight. The yard outside is where most of the action happens. Trucks come and go, bringing loads and taking them away. It’s dusty work, especially in the dry months. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a phone that rings too much and a gate that needs oiling. People drop by for a chat as much as for business. That’s just how it is in a village. You learn to be patient. Sometimes a delivery is late, or the power goes out, and you just have to wait it out. We aren’t trying to grow into some huge corporation. We just like being our own bosses and helping the neighbors get what they need for their shops or farms. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
