Rayat Bahra College Of Education ,Hoshiarpur

Out here in Bohan, near Hoshiarpur, things are a bit quieter than in the middle of the city. Rayat Bahra College Of Education ,Hoshiarpur is tucked away and we spend most of our days getting people ready to be teachers. It’s a lot of work, and the building stays pretty busy from Monday to Friday. We have folks coming in from all over the district to take their classes. The classrooms are simple, and we have enough books and materials to go around. Sometimes the internet is slow or a light goes out, and we just deal with it as it comes. It isn’t a flashy place, but it serves its purpose for the students. We’ve got a staff that knows their way around the curriculum, and they spend a lot of time sitting with students to go over their notes. The local area in Hoshiarpur is pretty nice, and being in Bohan gives us a bit of space. You’ll see students hanging out in the hallways between lectures, just talking or checking their phones. It feels like a real community where everyone is just trying to get through their degree and move on to their careers. We don’t put on a show for anyone. It is just a place for learning and working hard. Every year we see a new batch of faces and it's interesting to see where everyone ends up after they leave us. There is always someone new to meet in the canteen during the afternoon break.
