Government College Talwara

This is the government college located in Sunder Vihar. We are right near the Shikha Hotel in Talwara. If you are in the area, you probably know the spot. It’s a government-run place, so things move in a certain way here. We have the usual stone buildings and wide corridors. It’s a place for students from the 144216 zip code and the surrounding villages to come for their higher studies. We don't have any fancy stuff like you'd see in a private university. It's just classrooms, some labs, and a lot of books. The staff here handles everything from admissions to exams. We get a lot of students every year, and it keeps us pretty busy. The area around Sunder Vihar is usually quiet, except when the college sessions start or end. We don't do much in terms of promotion because everyone knows the college is here. It’s been a landmark in Talwara for quite some time. We deal with the power cuts and the heat just like everyone else. The focus is just on the classes and making sure the students have what they need to learn. It’s a steady kind of place. We aren't trying to be anything flashy. We just open up every morning and do the work that needs doing for the local youth. Sometimes the office gets crowded with students asking for forms, but we manage to get through the line. It is just the daily routine for us here in Talwara.
