Vivek Enterprise

Our shop is located at Crown Gate in the Uttarpara area of Hooghly district. It’s a busy little corner and we’ve been operating Vivek Enterprise from here for quite some time now. Being near the gate means there is always traffic and people walking by which keeps things interesting for us. We deal with a lot of different things and the inventory changes quite often depending on what is coming in. The building is older but it has character and we’ve made it our own over the years. Usually the day starts with a cup of tea and looking over the notes from the day before. There’s always some paperwork to catch up on or a delivery that’s running late. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes and get the work done without much fuss. Hooghly is a nice place to work even when it gets humid and the air feels heavy. We know the other shop owners around Crown Gate and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a modest business and we don’t pretend to be anything more than what we are. We just try to be useful and keep the enterprise moving forward every day. Sometimes it’s stressful when things don’t go right but that is just part of running a small business in a place like this. We are just here doing our job.
