Akash Deep

Our shop, Akash Deep, is located in Narkel Bagan, over in the Chinsura area. It is a residential neighborhood, so it is mostly quiet except for the local kids playing outside. We have been here for quite some time, and the shop has become a part of the daily walk for many people living nearby. We sell a variety of household items and some decorative things. It is the kind of place where you can find a spare bulb or a small gift if you are heading to a party. The space inside is quite narrow, so we have to be careful how we stack the boxes. We do not have a website or any of that stuff; we just rely on people walking in. Usually, it is just one of us behind the counter. We spend the afternoons dusting the shelves and making sure everything looks okay. It gets a bit dark in the back corners, but we know where everything is kept. Chinsura is a nice place to have a business because people are friendly and talkative. We have a regular routine of opening up, cleaning the front step, and waiting for the first customer. It is not a high-stress job, just a steady one. We do not have any big plans to expand; we are happy right where we are in Narkel Bagan. It is a local shop for local people.
