Our business is located in Jangipara, over in the Hooghly district. We are set up at Nilkanta Kundu’s place, which is a spot most people around here know well. Surapati Agro Products Private Limited is a small operation, and we like keeping it that way because it's easier to manage. Jangipara is a place where agriculture is the main thing people do, so we fit right in with the local scene. We deal with various agro products, mostly focusing on what the local land here produces throughout the different seasons. It’s not a polished corporate office with air conditioning in every single room. Usually, the windows are just left open to let the breeze in, and you can hear the sounds of the village and the birds outside. We spend a lot of time talking to the people who actually grow the food in the fields nearby. It’s important to us to stay connected to where everything starts. Our office is very simple, with just the essential tools needed to keep the records organized. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight; we just want to do our part in the agricultural chain. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when the harvest comes in all at once, but we always manage to sort it out eventually.
