We are situated over in Serampore, right on Railand Road. If you know the Mahesh area, we are not too far from the post office. This part of Hooghly has its own charm, though the traffic near the station can be a nightmare sometimes. Our office and retail space at 6/B is where we spend the bulk of our lives. It’s a private limited company on paper, but it feels more like a small family business because the same five people have been working here forever. We deal with various retail items, so our storage area is always a bit of a puzzle. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere for days. My chair squeaks every time I move, which drives the accountant crazy, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Instead, we have a water cooler and a few plastic chairs for anyone who drops by. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the delivery vans that struggle to navigate the narrow lanes around here. It’s a lot of physical work and paperwork, balancing the books while making sure the inventory is correct.
