Shekhar Sabui & Co.

We are located out here in Sultanpur village. It is quite a quiet spot mostly. Being under the Haripal police station area means things stay pretty calm around the roads. Most of the people around here know where the office is because Kashipur isn't that big of a post office area really. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready for the day ahead. Sometimes the weather gets a bit heavy in Hooghly but we still keep the doors open. There is a lot of green around the village which is nice when you need to step out for a minute and take a breath. Dealing with the paperwork and the regular visitors takes up most of our time between Monday and Saturday. It is not a fancy setup at all. We just have the basic desks and chairs we have used for years. It feels right to be part of the local community here instead of being in some big city office block where nobody knows your name. You can usually find someone here if you drop by during the daylight hours. We try to keep things straightforward and don't really go for anything too complicated in how we run the place. People stop by to chat or finish their business and then they head back to their own farms or houses nearby. It is just how life goes in this part of West Bengal. We are just Shekhar Sabui & Co. and we have been in Sultanpur for a while now.
