Sagar Chemical

We are located over at No. 122/5 in Mirpara, which is in the Hooghly area. Most people find us by looking for the Surf factory because we are right near there. It’s an industrial sort of spot, so don't expect any gardens or nice scenery around the building. We work with various chemicals and raw materials that factories need. The building is basically a small warehouse with a tiny corner partitioned off for the office work. To be honest, it's pretty plain and functional. There is always a bit of a chemical smell in the air, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We have a small team of guys who handle the barrels and the loading. The road out front is a bit of a mess, especially when it rains and the trucks churn up all the mud. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is stored the right way. It’s not the kind of job you wear nice clothes to. I usually just wear my old work shirts and boots. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now, and we know most of the drivers who come through this part of Hooghly. We don’t have any big marketing plans or anything. We just supply what people need and try to keep things moving. It’s a bit of a gritty business, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. It’s enough for us to keep going.
