Protect Chemicals P.Ltd. has been based in Dankuni for quite some time. Our office is inside the Dankuni Housing Estate, specifically at G-6/2. It’s a familiar spot for anyone living in the Hooghly district. Being in a housing estate means it’s not exactly a huge factory setup, but more of a workspace where we manage the business side of things. West Bengal has its own pace, and we definitely work according to that. The mornings start with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be shipped or ordered. It can get pretty humid here during the summer months, which makes work a bit slow in the afternoons. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get through the day's tasks without any major issues. Dealing with chemicals means we have to be careful with how we document everything. The staff here is local, so we all know the shortcuts around the estate and the best places to grab a quick tea. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don’t use a lot of fancy computers or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just desks, files, and people who have been around for years. We know most of the other businesses in the area too. It’s a tight-knit community here in Dankuni, and we are just a small part of it.
