If you go down Belur Road to LP-104/10, you’ll find us at 1/1. That is where Red Fish Aqua Ventures Private Limited is set up. It’s an old-school part of the area, and our building fits right in. We deal with water and fish all day, so things tend to get a bit messy. The floors are rarely dry and there’s always a pump humming somewhere in the back. We aren't the type of company that has people in suits walking around. We usually have our sleeves rolled up. Working with aqua ventures means we are always checking tanks or looking at the health of the fish. Belur Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the street coming in through the windows. We’ve got a small team, and we all know each other’s business. It’s not a polished environment by any means. There are stacks of buckets and nets leaning against the walls. We spend our time making sure the oxygen levels are right and the water is clean. Sometimes things go wrong, a pipe leaks or a delivery is short, and we just have to scramble to fix it. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just show up, look after the fish, and try to make sure our customers get what they asked for. It’s a simple life on Belur Road, focused on the basics of the trade and the daily tasks.
