Rajivsingh

Over here on Rajmohan Road, things are usually moving pretty fast. I am Rajiv Singh and my place is at 34/1, right in Uttarpara. It is a nice part of Hooghly, though the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings. The office is in an old house that has been around since before I can remember. It has those high ceilings that keep it cool, even when the humidity in West Bengal gets really bad. I have been working out of this spot for a long time now. The post office is nearby, so the mailman knows me by name and usually drops things off with a bit of a chat. Inside, there are stacks of papers and some old wooden furniture that has seen better days. It is not the kind of place where you find polished marble floors or fancy lights. It is just where I do my work. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing cricket in the lane outside, and you have to watch out for the ball hitting the window. I usually walk to work because it is easier than trying to park a car in these narrow streets. The pin code is 712258, so we are well within the town limits. It is a simple life here, just waking up, getting to the desk, and seeing what the day brings. No big corporate plans, just staying busy and making sure everything gets finished before the sun goes down.
