Nshm School Of Hotel Management

This school is located over in Konnagar, right on Ram Mohan Place. We have been around the Hooghly district for a good bit of time. It’s a busy place with students coming from all over the local area. You can hear the noise from the kitchen labs and the classrooms all day long. It’s not like those fancy corporate offices in the city. We have old desks and the hallways are a bit narrow. Utarpara is a quiet enough town, but inside these walls, it’s always moving. The teachers here have been doing this for years. They know how to handle the heat in the kitchen and the rush of the lunch hour. It’s hard work, teaching people how to manage hotels and cook properly. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all walk or take the rickshaw to get here. The building has some history to it, you can see it in the bricks and the old windows. We don't spend much time worrying about how it looks on the outside. We just focus on what needs to happen every day. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just deal with it. It’s a real place for real people trying to learn a trade. If you come by Ram Mohan Place, you’ll see us. It’s easy to find if you ask anyone in the neighborhood. We are just part of the town now and we like the neighbors.
