Electro Therapy

Our place is tucked away at 6/1 Daspara. It’s a quiet enough spot in Rishra, right by the post office. Electro Therapy isn’t one of those big hospitals you see in the city. We’re smaller. The building has been here forever, and it has that old-school feel to it. We’ve got some therapy beds and the machines for the electrical treatments lined up in the back rooms. Most of the folks who come in are from around here, neighbors really. You see the same faces every week, people coming in for their knees or backs. It gets a bit humid in the monsoon, and the walls in Daspara always look a bit damp no matter how much we paint them. We spend a lot of time just talking to people while they get their sessions done. It’s not just about the therapy machines. It’s about catching up on what’s happening in Rishra. The 6/1 address is easy to find if you know the landmark near the PO. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the door. It’s mostly just us trying to help people feel a bit better after they’ve hurt themselves. We drink a lot of tea between appointments. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fiddle with the wires. That’s just how it goes at Electro Therapy. It’s a simple living. We aren’t looking to expand into some massive chain. We like it here in Daspara. The pace is slow and we know everyone.
