Capgemini

Capgemini is situated in Flat No 305 over at 70 Dey Street. We are out in Poserampore, in the Disthooghly area of Westbegal, pin 712201. It’s a bit quieter than the main city, which we actually prefer for the kind of work we do. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we’re just looking at our monitors. The office isn't very large. It’s basically a converted flat, so it has that lived-in feel. We’ve got some old filing cabinets that have seen better days and a kitchen area that’s mostly just for making tea. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing here. We just come in, check the emails, and start working through the pile. Sometimes the internet is slow or the neighbor’s dog barks, but that’s just life. We aren't trying to win awards for our office design. We just want to make sure the work we send out is solid. Most of us have been here a long time, so we know the local area well. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have a lot of meetings about synergy or anything like that. We just talk across the room if something needs fixing. It’s a honest day’s work in a simple place, and that’s plenty for us. The walls could use a new coat of paint soon.
