Bachpan A Play School

Bachpan A Play School is located at Parivar Reign, 52-B, G. T. Road, in the Uttarpara area of Bhadrakali. It’s a busy part of Hooghly, and we are right there in the middle of it. The school is basically a second home for us and the kids who come here. We have a few rooms set up with mats and small chairs. It’s not a polished, high-end facility, but it’s practical for what we need. We spend our mornings greeting the parents and getting the children settled. Sometimes they cry, sometimes they run right in, and we just handle it as it comes. There’s a lot of hand-washing and picking up blocks throughout the day. We don’t bother with big marketing campaigns because word of mouth in Bhadrakali is usually enough. People know where we are. The building has its quirks, like that one door that squeaks or the way the light hits the back room in the afternoon. We focus on the basics here. No big promises or complicated philosophies, just a place for kids to be kids while their parents are at work. The staff lives nearby, so we really feel like we’re part of the neighborhood. It’s just a straightforward operation. We open up, we look after the children, and we head home once the last child is picked up from G. T. Road.
