A.C.Bhuteria & Co. Chartered Accountants, Kolkata

We have been working out of our office here at 79 Deshbandhu Nagar Road for a while now. Hindmotor is a quiet place mostly, but our desks are usually piled high with papers and folders. Being chartered accountants means we spend a lot of time looking at numbers and tax forms, which isn't always exciting but someone has to do it for the local shops and people around Hooghly. A.C.Bhuteria & Co. is just a small group of us trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit noisy, but we just keep our heads down and finish the audits. People drop by with their receipts in plastic bags or old envelopes. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a workspace with some old wooden desks and computers that hum all day long. Most of our clients come from Kolkata or right here in the neighborhood. We try to be helpful when the tax season gets crazy. It can be stressful in March, and the tea guy comes by twice a day to keep us going. We know the shortcuts around the 712233 area and where to get the best snacks for lunch. It’s a simple setup. We deal with the paperwork so other people don't have to worry about the government rules too much. It is honest work and we have been at it for years. We just try to get the math right and make sure everyone stays on the right side of the law.
