Ys-Ryl Desi Foodwala Private Limited

We run Ys-Ryl Desi Foodwala Private Limited from Shop No. 5 in Adarsh Market. It’s over in the Azad Nagar area of Hisar. Our shop is quite small, just enough space for the stove and some storage. We spend our days making local food for the people who walk through the market. Most of our customers are shopkeepers from nearby or people out doing their shopping. We don't have a big menu or anything fancy. We just focus on what we know how to make. The market can get pretty dusty and loud, but we are used to it by now. We open the shutters early in the morning and start cleaning. There is always a lot of chopping and washing to do before the first customer arrives. We use basic tools and do everything by hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a while. That’s just how it is in Hisar sometimes. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the food is ready when people want it. It’s a simple life here in Adarsh Market. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. When the day is done, we lock up the shutters and head home. It is hard work but it keeps us going and we like the community feel of the neighborhood.
