Go Seva Help Line is situated right at the Mohna Mandi Chodk. Being at a crossroads like this means there is always something going on outside our windows. The traffic can get backed up pretty bad, especially on market days, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. We have a small office where the phones ring quite a bit. It isn't a very large space, just enough for a few of us to sit and manage the calls that come through. The floor is concrete and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving during the hot months. We started this because there was a need in the community, and we just kept going with it day by day. There isn't a lot of structure to how we spend our hours, as we just respond to whatever comes up at the moment. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking about the news, while other days we barely have time to eat lunch.
