Krishan Steel is right on Kaimri Road. You’ll find us sitting just across from Karnal Motor. If you see the Radha Sawami Satsang Board, you’re in the right place. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of mechanics and shops around. We spend most of our time out in the front or moving things around the yard. It can get pretty loud with the trucks and cars zooming by all day. We’ve got our stock of steel piled up and we just handle the orders as they come in. There’s no big lobby or reception area here. Usually, someone is just standing near the entrance to help whoever pulls up. The dust from Kaimri Road is a constant thing we deal with, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our neighbors are also in some kind of trade, so there’s a lot of shouting back and forth and helping each other out. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t use fancy systems for everything. A lot of it is just written down or remembered. When the weather is good, it’s a nice spot to be, but the winter wind can be sharp coming off the open road. It’s just a honest, hard-working site where we try to stay on top of the daily load. We’ve been here for years and people know the spot well by now.
