Jotriwal Computers & Type College

Our place is at Jotriwal House on 12 Quarter Road, specifically in Gali No. 16 of Shiv Nagar. It is not a big corporate building or anything like that. It is just a regular spot where we have set up several computers for people who want to learn. We have been teaching typing and basic computer skills for quite some time now at Jotriwal Computers & Type College. The street outside is usually quiet, but you might hear some dogs barking or neighbors talking. In the mornings, we open up the shutters and wipe down the keyboards. Dust gets everywhere in this part of town. We have students coming in at different times throughout the day. Some are young kids and some are older people trying to learn how to use the internet or prepare for exams. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a PC. The chairs are mismatched because we bought them at different times, but they are comfortable enough for a lesson. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for it to come back on. It is just a part of living and working in Ward No. 11. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels nervous about making mistakes while typing. It is a steady way to spend the day, watching people get better at using the machines.
