Our office is located in the Canal Colony area of Hisar which is a nice spot in Haryana if you like a bit of greenery around. We are at 17-D and it is a plain building that we have been using for our consulting business for some time. It is not a very large team here but we have enough space to handle the projects that come our way without feeling too crowded. Most of our days are spent sitting around the main table discussing various technical details and looking at spreadsheets. Hisar can get really cold in the winter and very hot in the summer so we are always adjusting the heaters or the coolers in the office. The neighborhood is mostly quiet which is good for when we need to concentrate on difficult reports. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea several times a day because that is how we keep going through the long afternoons. Sometimes visitors find the colony a bit confusing to navigate because all the houses look similar but we tell them to look for the big tree near our gate. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls or anything like that. We just have maps and some project schedules pinned up so everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It is a basic setup where we just try to do our jobs properly and go home to our families at the end of the day.
