We have been running things out of 556/13 Govind Garh Bazar for a while now. If you know Hisar, you know the bazaar is always moving. It is loud and dusty, especially in the afternoons when the trucks are trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. Our office here isn't anything special to look at, just a regular spot where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to the sites. We handle the ECC division work from here, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and phone calls that never seem to end. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we have just gotten used to over the months. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. It is a practical place. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist at a big desk. Most of the time, the desks are covered in blueprints and half-empty tea glasses. People from the neighboring shops drop in sometimes just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. It feels right being in the middle of the market instead of some isolated office park. We know the chai wallah by name and he knows exactly how much sugar we like. It is just how we do things in Hisar, keeping it simple and getting the job done without much fuss.
