Our office is tucked away in Village Mawai, right near the Kheri Kalan post office at F15. It is a quiet area for the most part, except for when the local tractors go rumbling past our front door. We handle various technical systems here. It is not a big, fancy city office with glass walls, just a plain room with some sturdy desks and a lot of tangled wires. Sometimes the internet connection acts up, and we just have to wait it out. People around the village know us as the computer guys who are always staring at screens. We have been at this spot for a while now. It gets really hot in the summer months, but we have an old fan that keeps things moving. We do not have a fancy reception desk or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you walk in, you will probably see us drinking tea or trying to figure out a problem on a monitor. Kheri Kalan is a decent place to be based because it is away from the main city rush. It helps us stay focused on the day-to-day tasks. We stay late sometimes when a project is giving us trouble, but that is just how it goes. Most of us live nearby, so we do not have to deal with a long commute. We usually get our lunch from the small stalls down the road. It is just honest work.
