Deptt. Of Foods & Nutrition

The Deptt. Of Foods & Nutrition is located inside Khetarpaul Hospital. We are specifically at Scf-211 in Cue-I, which is part of the Green Square area. It’s a medical setting, so things are usually quiet and a bit serious. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. Our workspace is just a series of rooms where we look at food plans and nutritional data. We spend a lot of time sitting at our desks writing notes or talking to people about their diets. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The hospital hallways are always busy with people coming and going, but our office feels a bit separate from all that. We have our charts on the walls and a few old books on nutrition on the shelves. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, so we keep sweaters handy. We’ve been part of the Green Square community for a while now. Most of our day is spent tracking numbers and making sure the information we have is accurate. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just our daily schedules. It’s a small team and we just try to stay organized among all the medical paperwork. We don't do any marketing; we just provide the service as part of the hospital's general operations. It is just a regular department where we handle the food and health side of things for the facility.
