Birla Dall Mill

The Birla Dall Mill is located in the industrial area, which is usually a very dusty and loud place to be. We spend our days surrounded by the hum of the processing machines. It is not the kind of job where you can stay clean. There is always a bit of grain dust in the air and oil on the machinery. We have been here for years, back when there weren't so many other factories around. Now, the roads are full of trucks and workers. Our day starts before the sun is fully up so we can get the machines warmed up. We handle various pulses and make sure they are cleaned and processed properly before they go into the bags. The bags are heavy, and loading the trucks is hard work for the back. We have a small office room with a couple of plastic chairs and an old wooden desk where we keep the records. It gets very hot inside the mill during the summer months, but we just keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing department. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Most of our customers have been buying from us for a long time. They know where to find us in the industrial estate and usually just drive their tractors right up to the gate.
