Shivganga Traders

Our business, Shivganga Traders, is out in Village Barda, which is part of Taluka Sengaon. We set up shop near the Nagnath Temple, so it’s a place people know well. Being in a village means you know everyone who walks through the door. We trade in various goods that the local farmers and families need for their daily lives. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when there’s a festival at the temple. Then things get real busy and the streets fill up with people. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. We just rely on people knowing we’re here and that we’ll treat them right. The shop is a simple building, and we spend a lot of time just keeping things in order. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the rains when the roads get muddy, but we manage to stay open. We’ve been part of Barda for a while now and we enjoy being in this community. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving sacks and checking inventory, but it’s good work. We just want to provide what the village needs so they don't have to travel to the bigger towns in Sengaon for everything. It's a straightforward life here, and we like it that way. We don't ask for much, just a fair day's work and some good conversation with the folks who stop by the counter.
