Honourable Balasaheb Thackeray Haridra Research And Training Center

We are located at Gat Number 174/1, right by the Taluka Agriculture office in Basmat. It’s in the Hingoli district. Our center is named after Balasaheb Thackeray and we focus on Haridra, which most people know as turmeric. This part of Maharashtra grows a lot of it. We aren't a corporate business; it's more of a research and training spot for the local farmers. The building is functional and sits near the government offices. People come here to learn about better ways to grow and process their turmeric crops. It can get quite busy when the training sessions are on. We have experts who know the soil and the plants really well. They don't use big academic language, just plain talk that farmers understand. The office is often full of samples and farming tools. We don't have a marketing department because that's not what we're about. Our goal is just to help folks get more out of their land. It's a very practical environment. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the activity, but that's normal. We’ve been here in Basmat for a while, and the local community knows where to find us. It’s a straightforward place with a clear focus on the local crop. There are no frills or fancy decorations in our halls. We just get the work done as best we can for the farmers.
