Pulipati Jollu

This is Pulipati Jollu. I am Jwalanthi, the daughter of the late P. Mohandas. Our place is located in the Vijaya Hall Complex in Kadiri, which is in the Anantapur district. It is a bit of an old building, but it has a lot of history for our family. My father was well known around here and I am trying to keep his name going through this work. Kadiri is a small place compared to the big cities, but it’s home. The Vijaya Hall Complex is a landmark that most people know, so it's easy to find us. I don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just me and a couple of people helping out with the daily tasks. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Some days are very slow and we just sit and talk, while other days everyone seems to need something at once. I try to be practical about things. Life in Anantapur can be tough because of the heat, but we manage. I spend my time organizing the files and making sure the office stays tidy. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide what is needed to the people who come to the complex. It’s a quiet way to live and work, just staying true to what my father started years ago. It takes a lot of patience to run things here.
