Saurashtra Cement Products

Our workshop is located in Post-Dalpur, which is in the Prantij Taluka of Sabarkantha. It is a rural area, so things move a little slower here than in the big cities. We have a good amount of space out here in Dalpur to set out our cement articles so they can cure properly under the sun. We are just local people who decided to start making these products because we saw that everyone around here had to go far away to get them. We don't have any polished office or corporate staff. It’s usually just us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of cement dust. We wake up early to start the mixing because once the heat hits in the afternoon, it gets very tiring to move the heavy molds. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is usually how people find out about us in Sabarkantha. They see our yard when they are passing through the village and stop to ask about things. We like to keep things straightforward and don't use any complicated language. If a batch doesn't turn out right, we just start over. It is a simple life of hard work and making things that last. We’ve been part of this community for a while now and we plan to stay right here in Dalpur, keeping the yard busy with new projects for the neighbors.
