You can find J K Lakshmi Cement at Shop No- 5, over by the Bhagini Samaj. We are right on the Idar Himmatnagar Highway Road, so there is always a lot of noise from the passing cars and trucks. Being near the Post Office makes it easy for people to explain where we are. It’s a small shop, just number 5, but we keep a lot of cement tucked away inside. The highway gets really busy in the mornings and evenings, so sometimes it is hard for trucks to pull in. We have been here at this Bhagini Samaj location for some time now. It’s not a polished place with air conditioning or anything, just a regular cement outlet on the Idar Himmatnagar Highway Road. We spend our time lifting bags and keeping the floor swept as much as we can. The post office workers walk by all the time, and we say hello. It is a very local way of doing things. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just sell cement from this shop. The dust from the road comes inside when the doors are open, but that’s life on a highway road. Most of our customers are just people from around here building small things. We sit at the desk and wait for the next person to come in. It's a simple life at Shop No- 5 and we like it that way.
