Ishaivi Agro Producer Company Limited

Our company, Ishaivi Agro Producer Company Limited, operates right out of House Number 127 in Tola Pareji. It’s Hareram Pandey’s house, and it’s where we do all our planning and meeting. The village of Jaijor is a quiet place for the most part, but things get busy when we’re in the middle of a season. We’re just a bunch of folks who wanted to work together instead of everyone doing their own thing separately. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that comes with farming, like getting the right supplies and making sure the crops get sold properly. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes we have issues with transport or the weather plays tricks on us. We spend a lot of time on the porch or in the front room discussing the next steps. There’s no big sign or anything, just a group of us trying to make the farming business work a little better for everyone involved. We deal with the day-to-day tasks that come up, from looking at the soil to checking on the seedlings. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't use big words or have complicated goals.
