SHIGGAON TEXTILE PARK ASSOCIATION

Our office is located on Railway Parallel Road in Kumara Park West. If you’re familiar with Bengaluru, you know this part of Sampangiram Nagar can get quite busy. We are the ones handling the association stuff for the Shiggaon Textile Park. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and dealing with stacks of papers. Sometimes the noise from the trains passing by is so loud we have to stop talking for a second. You get used to it after a while, though. It’s a practical space, not a showroom. We have some old filing cabinets that don't always close right and a few plants that probably need more water than they get. People come in and out all day with different questions about the textile park. We do our best to keep things moving along. Bengaluru traffic makes it hard for some members to visit, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or sending messages. We don't have any formal goals written on the wall or anything like that. We just try to make sure the association runs like it’s supposed to. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there’s a big meeting coming up. We usually just have some tea, handle the forms, and keep the records straight. It’s basic administrative work, but it’s necessary for the park to function. We've been in this building for several years now, and the neighbors are mostly other small offices and local shops.
