Our shop is situated at number 15 right by the Talab Choraha. Being near the pond means there's always a bit of a breeze, but it also means there are plenty of people moving through the square all day long. It's a busy crossroads and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the regulars. We trade in various goods and the shop is usually packed from floor to ceiling with whatever we’re currently stocking. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside, especially when a new shipment comes in and we haven’t put it all away yet. We open early every day and stay until the sun goes down. There isn’t much space for a back office, so most of the paperwork happens right at the counter. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop everything and do it. We get people coming in for all sorts of things, and we try to keep the inventory moving so nothing sits on the shelf for too long. Sometimes the rain floods the road a bit near the choraha, which makes things interesting, but we just carry on with the day. It’s a local shop run by local people. We don't have a website or any of that, we just talk to whoever walks through the door and help them find what they need.
